FirstGlance Film Festival Announces Winners Including Best Actor Winners Danny Glover and John Heard at the 13th Annual Festival in Hollywood, CA

HOLLYWOOD, CA – April 29, 2013 – On a much anticipated night in the Chaplin Theatre at Raleigh Studios, FirstGlance Film Fest director, Bill Ostroff, announced the winners of the 13th Annual FirstGlance Film Festival in Hollywood, CA.  The award winners were named in the following film categories: Feature Films, Feature Documentaries, Mini-Documentaries, Short Films, Shorts “Too”, Music Videos, Web Series, Animation, and Student Films.

“The award winners for this year’s FirstGlance Film Festival encapsulate the spirit of independent filmmaking at its core.  With the rising production of indie films, we chose to honor those films and filmmakers that tell unique stories while exploring original and exciting themes.  We also wanted to showcase and award those actors whose talents shine through from the screen while connecting the audience with the story,” said Festival Director, Bill Ostroff.
