2014′s event will be our biggest to date…
Our 17th annual FirstGlance Film Fest Philadelphia is International and open to professional, first time, graduate and undergraduate filmmakers from across the globe. FirstGlance exhibits the best indie films from around the world and celebrates independent filmmakers in venues 2nd to none!
Along with our festivals, FirstGlance offers a limited number of short films not programmed at our festival, the opportunity to be part of the longest running Short Online Contest, where the winning film wins over $2000 in prizes and a Cash Prize of $250 USD and the opportunity to premiere at our next event!
FirstGlance Film Fests have been named 4 of the last 6 years as “1 of the 25 Best Film Festival Investments” in Moviemaker Magazine and “One of the top 25 indie film friendly businesses in the world”. FirstGlance continues to champion indie filmmakers from around the world, making FirstGlance Film Fests, the longest running and most notable independent international film fests in North America.
Our Film Festival is also known for being community driven and supportive and we always accept films “Shot in Philly” or with Philadelphia roots and highlight those Official Selections if chosen by the screening committee.
