The Filmmaker Incentive Program

In an effort to aid Official Selections of the FirstGlance Film Festivals to market and promote their projects FirstGlance started the Filmmaker Incentive Program. Allowing independent filmmakers, who normally might not have the budget to advertise their project the opportunity to take advantage of the advertising power of the festival.

PROMOTE YOUR FILM WITH A TRAILER

All Official Selections can take part, FREE of charge in our trailer network which has been viewed over 200,000 times last year on several streaming partners including MySpace, Youtube, and Veoh, just to name a few.

Advertising and Promoting your Official Selection

We offer a limited number of homepage slides to promote your project. Only 8 slides are available so get your request in NOW!

With over 1.5 million visitors last year and a large concentration of visitors during the festival cycle, your project will get great exposure on our home page.

Our new homepage will unveil mid-late August, similar to the top of the frontpage of HULU and OPENFILM.COM

Slides will go up one month prior to the event.

Short Online Contest Marketing ONLY

$100.00 - Button on our short contest homepage with link to your short in competition (160px x 160 px Color RGB, 150 dpi min)

Due to the amount of films, we may have to limit the number of filmmakers who participate in this offer. Contact us immediately with your interest.

Button Specs: Web button should be in color and dimensions of 160 x 160 pixels 150 dpi color RGB jpg, tiff or flash. All images can be sent via email with instructions where you want to link and URL if necessary. Images must be final, we will not make any changes.

ONLINE AND RETAIL DISTRIBUTION

We look forward to helping you promote your film at the FirstGlance Film Fest…and don’t forget we offer all short subject films the opportunity to get in on our revenue share digital distribution platform and our yearly DVD Compilation set to be sold in retail venues across North America in 2010. These are both non-exclusive contracts, and you keep all rights to your film.

Send out press releases by logging on to our site and click on our presslinks page to find many of the local Philadelphia media websites where you can post into calendars and news sites.

AWARD PLAQUES

Each Official Selection screened at the festival is awarded a uniquely created plaque presented at the end of each screening program. If you would like to order additional plaques, please let us know after the event. Each plaque costs $50.00 plus shipping and handling.
