FirstGlance Film Fest Hollywood is the fastest growing indie film fest in Hollywood.
Open to Filmmakers young and old, professional to first-time from around the globe, FirstGlance showcases the best of indie filmmaking from around the world and celebrates independent film described as, “one of the most entertaining festivals out there."
Named one of the best film festival investments and one of the top 40 indie friendly businesses in the world, FirstGlance continues to cater to truly indie filmmakers from around the world, making FirstGlance, the best, biggest and longest running indie film fest in North America.
With our annual Screenplay competitions, our online contests, and our FirstGlance distribution arm, we are the only festival catering to indie filmmakers year round and assisting filmmakers in marketing and distribution of their shorts and features.
In the past 5 years, over 80% of the features screened at FirstGlance, have gone on to theatrical and DVD release.
To celebrate our 10th year in Hollywood, FirstGlance will award over $10,000 in cash awards and a $5,000 cash prize to the BEST of the FEST plus over $15,000 in prizes.
Since 2008, selected short films we are unable to program due to time constraints will be invited to take part in our shorts online contest, enabling FirstGlance to reward even more films than ever to audiences.
The month long online contest has been growing in popularity. With a great prize package valued at over $2000.00 for the winning online short and a screening in the closing night program at the festival, it has been described as one “very cool” addition to the FirstGlance Film Festivals.
ALL OFFICIAL SELECTIONS are award winners and receive a festival package valued at over $200.00 USD and receive recognition after their screening program.

FirstGlance will award over $50,000 in cash and prizes in 2010!!
Our sliding scale cash prize will be awarded at FirstGlance Hollywood for every 1000 entries we receive, $5000.00 in USD CASH will be awarded to the Grand Prize BEST OF THE FEST winner, in addition to the tens of thousands of in-kind prizes awarded.

Entry Fee:
Starting at $30.00 for early submissions to $90.00 for Extended Deadline submissions.
All formats acceptable. All entries must be submitted on NTSC Region 0 or 1 DVD.
