Indie films produced by studios, professionals, indie film companies, first-time filmmakers, animators, graduate and masters programs, undergrad students are all welcome.
FirstGlance showcases the best indie filmmaking from around the world and celebrates international independent film.

FirstGlance continues to cater to truly indie filmmakers from around the world, making FirstGlance, the best, biggest and longest running indie film fest in North America.
With our annual Screenplay competitions, online contests, and our FirstGlance online and theatrical distribution arms, we are the only festival catering to indie filmmakers year round and assisting filmmakers in marketing and distribution of their films.
In the past 6 years, over 90% of the features screened at FirstGlance, have gone on to theatrical and/or DVD release. In 2011 we have launched theatrical distribution opportunities through the FirstGlance Film Fests.
Since 2008, we have showcased over 150 short films online with our, Short Online Contest, and awarded over 10,000 in prizes to the winners since it's inception. Since it's inception, over 50,000 users have viewed these films and in 2011 the Grand Prize is valued near $3000.00

FirstGlance will award over $60,000 in cash and prizes in 2011!!
Our sliding scale cash prize will be awarded at FirstGlance Hollywood for every, 1000 entries we receive, $5000.00 in USD CASH will be awarded to the Grand Prize BEST OF THE FEST winner, and for every category that recieves over 200 entries the Audience voted "Best in Category" will receive a $500.00 USD cash award...in addition to the tens of thousands of in-kind prizes awarded.
Plus, the highest rated Feature will be offered a RED CARPET Premiere event in Las Vegas Nevada and a minimum one week revenue share theatrical run (valued at over $25,000) and the option of distribution on multiple platforms.
